Celebrate the 38th National Migrant’s Sunday

The celebration of the 38th National Migrant’s Sunday (NMS) on September 29th, 2024. This year’s theme, “God Walks With His People,” aligns with the Vatican’s World Day of Migrants and Refugees (WDMR), offering a powerful message of hope and solidarity with all migrants, refugees, and displaced persons.

We invite all parishioners, supporters, and the Filipino migrant community to join us in commemorating this important occasion. We will be holding special church services and activities across the country to celebrate the resilience and contributions of our migrant brothers and sisters.

For information on NMS celebratory activities in your region, please kindly coordinate with our Regional Coordinators:

  • Luzon: Edmund Ruga
  • Visayas: Gerardo Gonzales
  • Mindanao: Cristelito Abadilla

We encourage everyone to participate and raise awareness about the challenges and opportunities faced by migrants worldwide. Let us stand together and show our support for their well-being and dignity.

In this year’s NMS, we join the bandwagon of the people and institutions crying out for the care of Mother Earth. Instead of printing this NMS Kit and NMS Poster, we are sharing them electronically to reduce ECMI-CBCP’s carbon footprint. We are encouraging you to use these materials freely and integrate them in your own but we are asking you to retain the color branding as much as possible and not to alter the logo of CBCP and ECMI.
